What are injectables and how does it work?
Injectable cosmetics are an FDA-approved treatment for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet in adult patients. Injectables work by dulling the signals that control muscle movement around the site where it is injected, relaxing overactive muscles.

How are injectables used in dentistry?
Injectable cosmetics are used for two main reasons in dentistry. The first is cosmetic where the injectables decrease and prevents fine wrinkle lines. It can also be used to provide a brow lift and provide a more open look to the eye area. We also use injectables to help with temporomandibular disorder - the pain associated with clenching and grinding. In these ways Injectables can provide a meaningful impact ranging from a more youthful appearance to diminished grinding and less headaches.
