How Invisalign Works

Treatment simulation. Using Invisalign's ClinCheck software, we create a digital simulation of your tooth movement from start to finish.

Custom aligner fabrication. Your series of aligners, custom-made specifically for your teeth, is shipped to our clinic. Tooth-coloured composite (white filling material), known as attachments, may be placed on certain teeth. These attachments work together with your custom aligners to help guide your teeth into their desired positions.

Wearing your aligners. You wear each set for approximately 1 to 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink anything other than water, and to brush and floss. Aligners are most effective when worn 20 to 22 hours per day.

5.

Progress check-ins. We see you approximately every 6 to 8 weeks to monitor progress and provide your next sets of aligners.

6.

Retainers. Once treatment is complete, retainers worn at night maintain your new smile long-term.
